Ina's Chicken Salad Tips
Ina made Chicken Salad Veronique this week. I haven't tried this recipe yet, but if anyone out there has please let me know how it turned out. The idea of putting grapes in chicken salad is new to me, but next time I make it I will give it a try!
Ina did give a couple tips that I thought were worth mentioning:1.) Bake the chicken instead of poaching it - she finds the chicken is actually more moist that way. 2.) Make the chicken salad when the chicken is still warm - the chicken absorbs the flavors better that way.Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Hi, I'm new to the whole blogging thing, so here's my first post. I'm a HUGE Ina fan, have all her books. I made her Chicken salad 2 weeks ago, because I had some fresh tarragon in my garden. I have made a similar recipe using chicken and grapes, which I love. Ina's recipe was great. I loved the tarragon in it (wasn't sure that I would). Her method for cooking chicken always turns out great (no more poached chicken for me!)
Have yet to try Ina's recipe, but do plan to. But, red grapes work well in chicken salads, too, along
with celery and pecans.
